It's a BLOG HOP!!!

Happy Release Day! I hope you enjoyed Sneaky Peek Week! I loved being able to share this wonderful new release with you.  The Cat Pack and the other Swanky Stamps created some amazing projects!  So, if you came from Susan's Blog you're on the right track.  If you didn’t then get back on track, Alma has the entire line up on the TCP Blog.  With all this inspiration you'll want to drop in and add the newbies to your TCP collection!

I made another tag using one of the sentiments from Nature's Hello and the wonderful flower die from the Posey Petals CutUps. I love the way this flower turned out. If it were white, it would looks almost exactly like our gardenias that are blooming right now.
I hope you have enjoyed the Sneak Peeks this week.  I have certainly enjoyed being a part of all the fun and want to express my gratitude to Alma, The Cat Pack and all the other Swanky Stampers.  You all are one talented bunch!  It's not over yet tho, head on over to see what Julie has to share.  You know its gonna be great!

TCP Sneaky Peek 7: Life Is Like Ice Cream

I know it's getting monotonous, but I really love this set.  Bunny is back again in a delicious, rather precarious looking place.  How can you look at him and not smile?  It was a wonderful image to color with Copic Markers.

I also decided to try my hand at the new Cutables Step Card.  When you purchase the file you get the pattern for the card and mats in .svg, .studio and .pdf file for those of us who don’t have a cutting machine.  For the next two months, The Cat’s Pajamas will be donating the proceeds from the Cutables to the Julie Masse’s China Adoption, so be sure to pick up both this one and the Card in a Box.  I used the .pdf file with my paper cutter and scoreboard and it worked great!

Thanks for stopping by.  Catch all the cuteness created by the Cat Pack and the Swanky Stampers here.   Stop by SplitcoastStampers for a chance win this set for you own,  just leave a comment here.  And last but not least be sure to join the party at SplitcoastStampers tonight.

Aloha, Brenda

TCP Sneaky Peak Day 6!

I took the opportunity to use this set to make a Father's Day card for my hubs.  I want ya to know these wonderful dies cut right through wool and felt without any problem!  I was able to get inky and chalky for this one:

It's another cutie!  The little Penguin is having a ton of fun blowing bubbles! He is so adorable, all the attention is on him with this Sweet Sunday Sketch #222.

I fussy cut the Penguin and bubbles (:( no Silhouette yet), but the new free Cutables would have made this a breeze.  The Posey Petals CutUps are back again in the form of the small flower (told ya I couldn't stop making them).

The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek Day 3

Welcome to another peek of the newest release from The Cat's Pajamas!!  Today you get a quadruple shot of sweetness!  Alma has outdone herself with this release.  I am using bits and pieces of these fab products including 2 of the new CutUps.

I had such a great time making flowers with the Petal Posies CutUPs, I only used the sentiments from the first set, Nature's Hello.  I love PJ, but the flowers won out for this one.

These posies are prefect for creating wonderful, full paper flowers.  There are many flower techniques out there (love Pintrest!).  To make these, I cut 5 layers of cardstock for each flower, punched a hole in the center, soaked them with water, scrunched them up, flattened them out, and placed a small brad to hold them together.  After they were secured, I bunched all the layers up to look kinda like a rose bud and let them dry overnight.  I slowly peeled the petals down, cut the medium flower to make leaves and sprayed them with Shimmer Spritz.  The big butterfly (multiple layers of tissue paper sewn together) from the Butterflies CutUps seemed to belong on this tag colored with a Distress Ink technique.  I also tried my hand a crinkling organza ribbon with my heat gun...all kinds of fun was had making this tag.

The set used to create the next card may be my favorite of the collection, Simple Blooms.  I was challenged to come up with a way to use this set, I didn't want a solid color image.  Here's what happened...

I colored on the stamp with several shades of Copic Markers, spritzed it with Copic Various Ink and stamped the image.  The spritzing made it kinda scary, I had little control over what happened next.  I love the way it turned out, just seems to fit this gorgeous stamp!

Be sure check the TCP Blog to see all the other fun projects created by the Cat Pack and the Swanky Stampers.  Plenty of inspiration to be found with all these talented women around.  You'll definitely want to see the new Cutables in action!  Please stop by here tomorrow for another peek!

Aloha,
Brenda
