An Easter Spinner

I needed an Easter card that would work for my daughter's boyfriend and I wanted to try making a spinner inspired by Alma's (TCP) card here.  This is what turned up:

The cute little bunny image is Hopping Bunnies by Digi Stamp Boutique.  The paper is "vintage",  some I have had for years.  It was from Junkitz, a line called Salsa Paperz and I see the copyright date is 2005!  I didn't do much embellishment because I felt the paper was strong enough to stand on it's own and it needed to be more masculine. The bunnies were colored with Copic markers.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Glitter n Sparkle Challenge 130http://glitternsparklechallengeblog.blogspot.ca-Easter

I hope it was a lovely weekend and a blessed Palm Sunday.  Thanks for stopping in!

CRAFT Challenge 304-Inspired by a Movie

The CRAFT Challenge this week is to make something inspired by a movie.  Our sponsors are:

and

Prize is 4 non-colored images

Head on over to the blog to get more info, inspiration from the DT and to link up your wonderful creations!

Growing up in Kansas, the Wizard of Oz has always been near and dear to my heart.  When I saw this hot air balloon, it sealed the deal.  When I found this floral paper in a Penny Black Paper Pad, it reminded me of the field of poppies right out side the Emerald City.  Because of the Emerald City, I had to have some green involved.  I also used a brick embossing folder to create a yellow brick road, but you can't see much of it.  Here's what it all looks like:

Meljen's

The card design was inspired by Reverse Confetti's SFYTT #8.

Thanks for stopping in!  Love hearing from you and visiting your blogs.

I Made This

I just learned of a challenge blog called Shopping Our Stash.  It sounded like exactly what I need to do more of, so here I am.  The challenge theme for this week is "I made this" and we need to make our own background. Well, as it happened, I made this distress ink and embossing enamels background already positioned in the card, all it needed was some character.

I added the little Penguin and sentiment from The Cat's Pajamas SPACE CADET (from the newest release) and it was done!  Love that this happened.  I even have someone I think will appreciate receiving it!

Thanks for stopping by.  I so appreciate your visits and comments.

Aloha,
Brenda

Top Tip Tuesday calling for Buttons or Bows

Click here for The Cat's Pajamas Blog hop.

Yip, that's right, the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge for this fortnight is to use buttons or bows.  This challenge is sponsored by:

Bugaboo Stamps

and

Whimsy Stamps

Decisions are hard for me especially when it comes to buttons or bows, so I chose to do both.  This card is featuring Bugaboo Brat Bugs, one of my favorite little girls from Bugaboo Stamps.  She is so cute and such fun to color.  My tip is to wait to add the sentiment on a card that could be used for different occasions   For this card I will add the sentiment on the inside when I know what the occasion is.

It's Release Day and a Blog Hop!

Release day is finally here and there's a Blog Hop to celebrate! If you are following the hop you have arrived here from the amazing Nancy's blog (tough act to follow), if not you can always go back to the TCP Blog and start from there.
I am so happy to be playing along with The Cat Pack and Swanky Stampers.  This release is so awesome with all the new stamps and dies released by TCP.

I had a hard time choosing but, I decided to go with a card created with the Patterned Petals set and matching dies.

Today also happens to be the start of a TCP Tuesday Sketch Challenge. I had to play along, this is such a great sketch.

Here's what I came up with:

As if all that is not enough, there's a Spring Blog Hop starting today and going for the entire month.  You can enter with a project using any TCP product and the winner will win a $50 gift certificate!

I want to thank Alma, Ms. Meowy herself for this opportunity.  She has the vision to create all these wonderful "creative tools" and to put together an awesome design team that never ceases to amaze me.   I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to join in on all the fun.

As always, thanks so much for dropping by.  Now hop on over and to check out the uber talented Wendy M's blog.
