2017...

...is fast on it's way out, so I want to share this little card I made with the progressive challenge image from Gerda Steiner.  I think little guy is adorable, but I have to admit I've been Christmasing so much I had a bit of a hard time converting to hearts.  Here's my make -

I used hearts dies from The Cat's Pajamas and Simon Says Stamp along with a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.  The 'Love me' sentiment is from TCP also.  I actually stitched the heart and threaded the needle which was a fun way to add just a little more texture.

I's going to get busy tidying my house so we can move into the new year with a bit of organization.  I'm working on my calendar to as the new year will bring all sorts things to look forward to!

Tutu Bunny

Hi all!  We are fast approaching the new year and this little Bunny looks as if she is ready to celebrate!  This is Tutu Bunny and she can be found here in the Sasayaki Glitter shop.    Here is a CAS card made with her in the spotlight!

She looks as is she is dancing in a cloud of New Year's confetti to me.  I just love her!  This was a super easy card to make but I feel like it packs a lot of pazazz.  I colored her up with Copic markers and added some Stickles for the first bit of shine.  I created the background with several layers of watercolor and added some a lot of gold and a few dots of white embossing powder.  Bunny was popped up on the top and the 'happy', cut from metallic cardstock finished it off.

I hope you are all enjoying the holidays.    Have a great rest of the week!

A Christmas Note

Hello! I'm back with another share for Kennedy Grace Creations. Can you believe, if you celebrate Christmas, only 6 more days? I have to admit, I still have a few cards to post tomorrow but thankfully they were all done awhile back. I'm sharing one with you today that I made using Grace's Little Note from the Kennedy Grace Creations store.

For this card I used a masking technique to stamp the flowers along the diagonal and then fussy cut them along the leafy edge. I LOVE fussy cutting and find it to be a wonderful way to just tune out and enjoy my crafty time. The flowers were colored with Copic markers with a little Stickles added to the center and then scattered for some shine. I chose to color them red and green for that traditional Christmas feel but I tell you these Grace's Little Note flowers would work well in any color for any occasion .

The sentiments were added, one die cut the other heat embossed. Here it is from another angle.

Be sure to stay tuned to the Kennedy Grace Creation blog. We will be sharing new creations with you daily. I want to wish you all the joys of the holiday season because I won't be sharing again until 2018! Thanks so much for stopping in.
Aloha,
Brenda

Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

In case you've noticed all the coffee related creation on Instagram, there's a very good reason, it's time for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I am a big fan of both coffee and this very fun blog hop, so I'm jumping in!  Here's my card that was made with fun stamps I was blessed to win a gift voucher from Endless Creations and Everyday Cards in one of the past CLBH.  I just had to have this sweet cappuccino cup and it's die.  I love them and can't believe it has taken me this long to bust them out.  The sentiment is a digi that Julee Tilman of Verve Stamps so kindly share a while back.

So here's my first card and I'm really hoping to get one more done with the tiny cappuccino stamps I got at the same time.  Be sure to check out the Endless Creations and Everyday Cards store, they have such fun images!

It's such fun looking at everyone's wonderful creations, so many creative, talented cardmakers out there!  As I said, I hope to be back tomorrow night with one more.  I hope you are having a great week and a wonderful holiday season full of all your favorite coffee drinks!

Aloha,
Brenda

This week our sponsor is:

I love making bags. I think I like them best because I have several tools that help to make bags so fun and very easy to make.

I made these to use as a 12 day Advent calendar for my daughter.  I made and decorated these little bags with dies.  I got this idea here.

Here's a little peek of what it looks like hanging in my happy crafty place.  Not a very good pic, the lighting leaves something to be desired, but you get the idea -

We would love for you to head back to the AYLI blog to link up your creation.  While you are there, check out the prize that's up for grabs and take a look at the gorgeous creations the DT made for you to see!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are having a wonderful week!
