Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

In case you've noticed all the coffee related creation on Instagram, there's a very good reason, it's time for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I am a big fan of both coffee and this very fun blog hop, so I'm jumping in!  Here's my card that was made with fun stamps I was blessed to win a gift voucher from Endless Creations and Everyday Cards in one of the past CLBH.  I just had to have this sweet cappuccino cup and it's die.  I love them and can't believe it has taken me this long to bust them out.  The sentiment is a digi that Julee Tilman of Verve Stamps so kindly share a while back.

So here's my first card and I'm really hoping to get one more done with the tiny cappuccino stamps I got at the same time.  Be sure to check out the Endless Creations and Everyday Cards store, they have such fun images!

It's such fun looking at everyone's wonderful creations, so many creative, talented cardmakers out there!  As I said, I hope to be back tomorrow night with one more.  I hope you are having a great week and a wonderful holiday season full of all your favorite coffee drinks!

Boxes or Bags?

This week our sponsor is:

I made these to use as a 12 day Advent calendar for my daughter.  I made and decorated these little bags with dies.  I got this idea here.

Here's a little peek of what it looks like hanging in my happy crafty place.  Not a very good pic, the lighting leaves something to be desired, but you get the idea -

We would love for you to head back to the AYLI blog to link up your creation.  While you are there, check out the prize that's up for grabs and take a look at the gorgeous creations the DT made for you to see!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are having a wonderful week!

Happy Sunday friends!  I over on the Sasayaki Glitter Blog today with a little more Christmas inspiration using the sweet Christmas Penguin image which can be found here.  Here he is all colored up and on a tag ready to make someone's Christmas a little brighter -

Here's a little closer look.

I colored him up with Copic markers and popped him on to a cute die cut tag.  A little wreath, some Nuvo Drops and a die cut sentiment was all that this tag needed and it's one more tag done.

Angel Leah

Good morning everyone!  I'm up for the post over on the Whimsie Doodles Blog.  I have a Christmas to share using an image that is definitely one of my favorites, Angel Leah.  She can be found under Winter Digital Stamps in the Whimsie Doodles store.

Here she is all colored up -

And here's a closer look at all the sparkle.

Going through my stash of paper I found this scrap that seemed to me to work perfectly with Leah.  I fussy cut her after doing a little Copic coloring and adding some tickles to her dress and wings.  This really went together fast thanks to the design paper scrap.

I want to remind you, you still have a couple more days to enter the November challenge at Whimsie Doodles, here's the link for your convenience.  Thanks for dropping by today!

Blue Christmas

Hi friends!  I'm up on the Kennedy Grace Creations blog today.  I'm sharing a card I created after pondering the wonderful December inspiration board above.  There are so many things I love about this board.  Blue is my favorite color and Christmas is my most favorite time of year, so that's where I started.

I decided to make a shaker card using some of the gorgeous Kennedy Grace sequin mixes.  For this card I used Chantilly Cream and Ocean Water which look as if they were taken right off the mood board.  If you look closely you can see the beautiful iridescence of the Chantilly Cream.  LOVE THEM!

I started by cutting the ornament shape from a speciality white cardstock called Stardust, 2 sheets of fun foam and a blue metallic cardstock.  I glued the fun foam together adhered that to card base made of the same Stardust cardstock.  I adhered the metallic ornament in place and added the Kennedy Grace sequins.  I am notorious for forgetting to put the acetate onto my shakers, but this time managed to remember to get that done.  I used tacky glue for adhering all the layers and was pleased with the bond I got.

After that shaker element was finished I added a little evergreen bough which had been dusted with clear rock candy distress glitter.  All that was left was to add the sentiment and a skinny twine bow with even more glisten.  Hopefully the recipient will enjoy all the sparkle and sheen this card shares.

We would love for you to join us in using the Kennedy Grace mood board for inspiration and would love it even more if you would share your creation on FB or Instagram.  Thanks so much for popping in today.

Please be sure to follow the Kennedy Grace Creations blog, facebook, twitter, instagram and pinterest. Our Design Team has great projects to inspire you with our great stamp sets.

Sasayaki Glitter Release Day!

It's new release day over at Sasayaki Glitter!  Here's the link to the blog so you can see and the wonderful new images.  I'm sure you are going to be inspired by what the Sasayaki Glitter Girls have created, cuz I've already taken a peek at all the fabulousness (is that even a work?).  Here my card using Sasayaki Glitter's Christmas Chicken, I think he is going to make you smile -

I colored him up using Copic markers and fussy cut him to layer onto design paper.  The sentiment was computer generated using Princess Ivy font from DaFont.  I just though it was the perfect description of this very entertaining Chicken!

What is Your Favorite Animal?

It's time for another As You Like It Challenge.  This fortnight our challenge theme is to share your favorite.  Use your favorite animal on your creation and tell us why it's your favorite.

This week our sponsor is:

Here is my card, using one of my favorite animals,  the Bunny -

OK, I'm just going it say it, this is an impossible challenge. I love animals, all animals (well almost all animals). I guess for purposes of this challenge, I'm going to say bunnies. I love bunnies in real life and I love The Cat's Pajamas Bunny because he is always into something and he has such personality!  I had a white bunny, Thumper, when I was growing up.  I remember how soft and fuzzy he was.  He was a gift from a very special neighbor.

We would love for you to head back to the AYLI blog to link up your creation.  While you are there, check out the prize that's up for grabs and take a look at the gorgeous creations the DT made for you to see!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope your week is going well!

CRAFT 444 - Christmas Present

It's time for another CRAFT Challenge!  We would love for you to join us this week and make something that represents a Christmas Present.

Our Sponsor this week is -

I went very literal with the challenge and made this card using present dies from The Cat's Pajamas -

I used dies and heat embossed the design on both the "boxes and bows".  It was very fun to make.  I'm really into to gold right now it would seem.

I invite you to head over to the CRAFT Challenge blog to take a look at what my teams have created.  I am looking forward to see how you interpret 'Christmas presents'.

Christmas Tag

Hi friends!  I have a little tag to share with you today.  I colored up this cute image awhile back but just got him put on a tag tonight.  I actually used scraps from other project to create the tag for this fun little mouse.  I thought the sentiment was perfect for a gift tag -

I'm getting this in just short of the deadline for the Gerda Steiner progressive challenge and one less tag to make for Christmas!  Thanks for stopping by.

It's Brenda here and I'm am your challenge hostess this week.  Since we just celebrated Thanksgiving here in the US, I thought it would be fun to have everyone show their "Foodie" side.  Anything having to do with food or beverages is what I am looking for.  Here's what I came up with -

I'm not sure why my New Year's cards alway feature champagne, I don't even really care much for champagne, but I do love this stamp!

I'm looking forward to seeing what you decide to do with this challenge.  I most certainly hope you will join us.  I know the Girlfriends are going to rock this challenge, so head over to the Little Red Wagon and follow their links.  Thanks for stopping by today!

CRAFT 443 - Anything but a Card

It's time for another CRAFT Challenge!  We would love for you to join us this week in creating anything but a card.

Our Sponsor this week is -

We decided to go with a rustic theme for our Christmas tree this year.  Some of the ornaments with be these funny little reindeers.  I made them from wooden rounds I found at our local craft store.  The dies I used are by The Cat's Pajamas and I think work so well to give us the rustic feel we are going for.  Here's a close up -

...and here are several of them hanging on our little mini Christmas tree.

I can't wait to see what you decide to share with us!  Head on over to the CRAFT Challenge blog and take a look at what my teamies have made.
