True confession, I posted on the TCP blog Tuesday when Thursday was really my day. Honestly, sometimes I worry about me! Anyway this afternoon I decided to use the new Gnome Sighting SVG to make a little sign to announce the coming of summer which is right around the corner! I going to hang this on my whatchamacallit like here.
I started the process by cutting Gnome Sighting with a Silhouette. I opted to cut it from paper scraps in my stash. The background was made by ink blending to create the sky. The SVG was glued together o create this cute little scene. There's plenty you can do with the cute little gnomes, fun mushrooms, flowers and grassy patch that comes in this digital file.
.
After the scene was completed, I glued it onto a piece of recycled corrugated cardboard and made a little hanger with jute. It needed a little something, so I used Banner Digistamp to create the banner by welding 2 plain fishtail banners together and sizing them to fit the sentiment created with Babydoll Alphabet Digistamp/SVG. I printed and cut it using Silhouette Design Space and it worked great! To give the banner a more finished look, I ran a yellow marker around the edges to give the appearance of solid core paper.
Here's another look at the goodies I used today -
Thanks so much for your visit!
