I'm sharing a little springy decor item that I made with digital files from The Cat's Pajamas. I have this little "thingy" to hang seasonal signs on and needed something to celebrate the coming of spring. I made a similar one for fall you can find here. This sign used Rabbit and Wreath Digi/SVG and Woodgrain Coverplates to make this fun sign.

This project was started by using a Silhouette to cut a background using the Woodgrain Coverplates from some heavy weight kraft cardstock. It was sized to go on a kraft cardstock base measuring 8 1/4" by 4 3/4". A little walnut stain distress ink was added to give it a bit of depth.
Step 2 was to size, print, and cut the wreath and letters from Rabbit and Wreath Digi/SVG. I used the colors that automatically populate the design screen, they are so perfect for spring. I used a #110 lb cardstock.
Step 3 included using Copic markers to do some shading on the wreath elements and the letters.

Step 4 was placement of the wreath and letters onto the kraft base. The letters were popped up to give a little extra dimension. Hint: I used the negative cut to help with the placement of the letters, which made this task pretty quick.

Step 5 fixed a problem and added some extra stability to the sign. I forgot to place the hanger, so I cut a backing piece 8" by 4 1/4" from chipboard and sandwiched a piece of jute in place.
Here it is all finished -

I hope this might interest you in making a little digi decor of your own!
