I hope y'all have had a great weekend so far. I'm popping in with another sneak peek for The Cat's Pajamas. Today we are showing you the Theater Cutable.
Here's a little bit about it in Alma's words "Love the drama of a Theater card but hate how they fall apart? Our Theater Cutables comes together in a snap, and stays together. You get a .studio, .pdf and .svgs with dotted and dashed lines for two sizes, 4.25” x 5.5” and 5” x 7”.
My theater card for today features the new Love Grows Here stamp set and its free image Cutable. If you would like to see another take on the theater card, check out my day #4 card here.
This card was fun to make! I actually cut my first one using "scrap" cardstock to get the feel for putting it together before using my design paper. Even the first time, it went together like a breeze after watching Alma's video here.
- I picked out my cardstock and design papers and used the .studio cut files to put my Silhouette to work.
- The card was assembled. I decided I wanted to risers to be green, so I recut them using the .pdf version which was fast and easy.
- While I had the Silhouette out, I used the free Love Grows cuttables and cut several blanks for each image. The images were then stamped using a stamping platform and colored with Copic Markers.
- I ended up fussy cutting 2 tree images since they needed to stand alone.
- The flower clusters were stamped, colored and fussy cut multiple times.
- I fussy cut the little path for the scooter.
- All the images were glued in place as shown above.
- The sentiment for the front was stamped onto the Framed Up oval die. I cut a frame for it using the die as a pattern.
- 2 butterflies were cut using Butterfly Trio dies
- Sentiment and butterflies were adhered to the front as shown above.
