I hope this finds you all healthy and safe and ready for a new TCP Tuesday Challenge. This month we are challenging you to create something that celebrates Everyday Heroes. There are so many folks out there using there superpowers to help us have some sense of normalcy in our lives. I certainly hope one of the things that comes out of this unfortunate situation is that we learn to appreciate one another more and not take each other for granted.
We have a special surprise for you all to help celebrate our Everyday Heroes. Alma has drawn some wonderful digital designs as a special free gift for you. You can find them here. It celebrates all of us doing what we can to make it through this challenge in the best way possible.
This is my card combining 2 of the new digital images. I combined Sprinkle and her little buddy Yappy to represent all those folks doing the work to keep necessary consumer goods (like food and TP) coming. If it weren't for the truck driver's and the dock/container ship workers, we would be in real trouble here in Hawaii. My card is a shout out of most sincere thanks to them.
To make this card, I started with an A2 white card blank.
The Cloud Border CutUps were cut from white cardstock and Spring Tag Duo from a scrap of blue paper.
The tag was embossed with a cloud embossing folder, popped up on foam tape and centered on the card blank.
The digis were printed on Neenah cardstock, fussy cut and colored with Copic markers.
I added thread whiskers to Sprinkle with glue and used just Yappy's head and the roll of TP.
The sentiment is from Super and was stamped onto a strip of cardstock using VersaFine onyx black ink.
The card was assembled as shown above using foam tape and glue to adhere all the elements.
