The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek #6

Thanks for heading back over for day #6 of The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peeks!  Todays sneak includes 2 new products; NATURE'S CHRISTMAS TREE stamp set and HAPPY HOLIDAYS CutUps (which I peeked here).  This stamp set is not only just too cute, there is so much you can do with it.  The die is not to big and not to small, but just right and that script is GORGEOUS!

I actually made 2 cards from this set, 1 saved for later.  Here's my favorite.  I just LOVE this sweet little birdie -

This card began with a white card base and red panel.  A second panel was cut from white cardstock which was run through the Big Shot with the Flutter By CutUps and stamped with a few stars and snowflakes in gold.  The circles cut with the dies were inlaid after receiving a bit of the same gold ink.  

A red frame was cut using a "stamp" from the Four Seasons Duo Dies (how did I ever get along without this die set?).  A white panel was cut to fit the "stamp" and the little birdie was stamped, colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut. 

 I used the tree branch and stamped it multiple times to create the treetop on the panel.  The edges were shaded with tumbled glass distress ink using the new BIG BEAUTIFUL BLENDING BRUSH.  

More stars and snowflakes were stamped on the tiny panel and it was adhered to the frame which was then adhere to the large white panel.  I can't seem to do anything without heat embossing, so a few more "snowflakes" were added and the large panel was adhered to the card base.  The birdie was popped up with small bits of foam tape so he can place his star on top.  

The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossing with some very shiny embossing powder (which looks much better IRL) and then popped up on the front of the card.  A few holeless sequins in Snowy Sparkle/Sparkling Snow were added and there's another card for the stash!
