The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek #4

The sneaky peeks from The Cat's Pajamas aren't over Yetti!

It's day #4 and today we want you to meet the cute little one from the YETTI CHRISTMAS stamp set and the VILLAGE SNOWGLOBE DUO DIES.

I LOVE this little guy and can see using him for many occasions as well as Christmas.  I loved coloring his shaggy "hair".  This card kind of took on a life of its own and ended up using a portion of the VILLAGE SNOWGLOBE, snowflakes from JOYEUX NOEL CutUps as well as GREAT OUTDOORS STENCILZ.  It turned out much different that I originally intended thanks to leftovers.  Here ya go -

The card was started by using the free cut files to cut out the sweet Yeti.  He was colored up using Prismacolor pencils (I love that cute little arm!).  I used the Going Round and Round die to cut the circle and stitched frame from a piece of paper that had been stenciled with "snow" using Nuvo embellishment paste, attached it to the corner of the patterned paper panel and trimmed.  I had a left over "village" which was colored with distress ink and trimmed from the snow globe diecut.  A sprinkle of embossing powder was added to create even more snow.  Yetti was popped up in front of his little village.

The greeting was stamped on a flag from Framed Up 2 and attached to the front.   A few left over snowflakes from JOYEUX NOEL were glued around the sentiment and embellished with the new CLEAR HOLOGRAPHIC HOLELESS SEQUINS and it's done!

The next card was created using VILLAGE SNOWGLOBE DUO DIES and HAPPY HOLIDAYS CutUps -

I will refer you to Alma's video for instructions to make a shaker.  Using the VILLAGE SNOWGLOBE DUO DIES makes it fairly easy. To prep for this, the village was cut from watercolor paper and colored with distress ink and layered on top of a scrap of blue glitter paper.  The snow was inset with white glitter paper.  The globe itself was cut on the card front and the card was assembled with CLEAR HOLOGRAPHIC HOLELESS SEQUINS used for the shaking.  Last of all the sentiment was die cut from more blue glitter paper using HAPPY HOLIDAYS CutUps.
