TCP Tuesday #356 - Spring

Wow!  April is here and so is Spring which makes it the perfect TCP Tuesday challenge theme.  The Cat's Pajamas new release has a bunch of stamps and dies just perfect for this challenge so I'm using several of them with the hope of enticing you to play along.

Here's my card featuring stamps from For Fox Sake, Year of the Pig, Big, Little Alphabet and Confetti Mix -

The card was made tall and thin to accommodate the letters for SPRING.  I started by picking springy ink colors and blending them on to white cardstock scraps.  The letters were cut using Big, Little Alphabet.  The white panel was cut (8.5" by 3.5") and the small fox from For Fox Sake was stamped directly on the panel with Copic friendly ink.  The larger fox was stamped on Neenah paper and put the the side.  Next, flowers were stamped with the little blossom from Year of the Pig using the same colors as the letters.  The centers were filled with Nuvo Drops in Dandelion Yellow and set aside to dry.  

The foxes were colored and the large fox was fussy cut.  Once the Nuvo drops were dry, placement of the letters was determined by laying them out, once decided, they were adhered with foam tape to add a little dimension.  The large fox and his balloon was adhered to the card front with foam tape also.  Rather than fussy cutting the balloon string, I used thread instead and glued it in place.  For a final detail, a small butterfly from Confetti Mix was glued to the letter P.   The decorative panel was adhered to a green card base (8.75" X 3.75").
