Today Iʻm starting my post with "Iʻm So Sorry" and it isnʻt because Iʻm late or forgot to post (hopefully), it is because our new challenge theme at Little Red Wagon, from Chrissy, is to create a sympathy card.
I like to keep my condolence cards simple as I have done with this card. I used a scrap of patterned paper on a white card blank and added some leaves from a NBUS 2nd hand die. I canʻt remember whose sentiment that is, but it is my go to for this type of card. I added a few pearls mainly because they were sitting on my table and I didnʻt want to dig out the container to put them away. I think they add a little interest.
As always, we would love for you to join our challenge this week. The Girlfriends will have something special to share, I am sure, so check out their blogs. You can link up your projects (remember, it doesnʻt have to be a card) over at Little Red Wagon Challenge.
I hope you are having a great week! Thanks so much for your visits.
Aloha,
Brenda

Beautiful sympathy card, love the embossed strip and die-cut foliage-just enough.

ReplyDeleteSplendid card, Brenda! I especially love the embossing. Have to admit I chuckled a bit when I read about the pearls - might have done that a time or two myself.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and elegant card, Brenda.

So lovely, Brenda! The subtle patterned paper looks fantastic behind the leaves and I love that sentiment as well!
