Little Red Wagon Challenge #360 - Create Your Own Background

This Wednesday seems to have rolled around even sooner with our Memorial Day holiday yesterday here in the US.  I am hostess over at Little Red Wagon this week and I am asking to see how you will "create your own background". There are many ways you could accomplish this, you could watercolor, smoosch, gel print, ink blending, stencil to name a few. Or you could give a new purpose to offcuts like I did.

I created these tags by gluing off cuts from papers, and even some self created stickers, to a backing.  I cut them into tags, inked around the edges and made them into little tag pockets.  I made a bunch of these and used up a ton of scraps in the process.

I am really looking forward to seeing your backgrounds this week. I canʻt wait to be inspired.  For some fab background ideas, be sure to check out what the girlfriends have created for your inspiration.

Have a great week!

Aloha,
Brenda

  6. I love nature, so I really like your butterfly specimen tags. The vintage inspired background that you created is superb too. (BTW, I'm assuming that you're from Hawaii, and want to tell you that my wife's and my trip to Maui was another one of our favorites.)
