Little Red Wagon Challenge #851 - "Still Rock and Roll"

It's Wednesday again and time for a new Little Red Wagon challenge.  This week Kate is back with her Billy Joel inspired challenges.  The song she is taking inspiration from is (one that I canʻt get out of my head now), "Still Rock and Roll" and vintage is what she wants to see on our creations.

For this card, I went to my little drawer of stuff that had not previously made the cut.  I used a truly vintage book page as the backdrop and added bits and pieces to create a collage of sorts.  The sentiment is another nod to vintage and comes from an old Papertrey Ink set.  The seahorse is a Hero Arts die.

We would love you to give our challenge a go this week.  Head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up. While you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Aloha,
Brenda

PS -  Thanks so much for the concern some of you have shown my family and I in the wake of all the terrible flooding here.  Most of the devastating flooding was on the North Shore where one life was lost.  It was ironic tho, the day we thought the rain was over, the valley we live in did suffer from a flash flood.  It rained solid for about 3 hours with reports of 10-12 inches.  Roads turned into rivers and cars floated out of parking lots.  Fortunately we live higher up and I am so grateful to be able to say we suffered no damage.  Mahalo!

  1. Beautiful Vintage card, love the little Seahorse and the collage background with the distressing and torn papers. Glad to hear you escaped the flooding with no damage-I don't have a TV and not on FB anymore so don't keep up with the news.
