Our lovely Imke is the hostess over at Little Red Wagon this week. She is continuing with her ABC challenges and this week, M is for masculine and she wants to see our masculine cards.
I was inspired by this card over on Pinterest. I used a Sizzix embossing folder on some metallic copper paper. This was painted with a layer of black acrylic paint and then wiped off with a paper towel. I used a distress tool to add a little extra texture. It was finished off with a die cut sentiment from Frantic Stamper and layered on a kraft panel and black card blank. Just a few copper sequins were added for an extra bit of interest. Masculine makes are not my favorite, but I really enjoyed doing this one.
Pop on by Little Red Wagon this week to join in on the fun and to see what the Girlfriends have created this week.

Brenda

Stunning card, Brenda! I love how you did the background. It's perfect for a guy card. It looks like the verdigris you get on copper (and I love that!).
ReplyDeleteSuch a striking card! I'm loving those colours on your papers!
