LRW #784 - Non-traditional Winter Holiday

Janice is up over on the Little Red Wagon blog and her challenge is Non-traditional Winter Holiday.  This means we want to see those holiday cards that have a unique element.  Maybe it's colors not typical for the winter holidays, maybe it's a stamp/image that isn't really meant for a holiday,  there are so many ways you can go with this challenge.

In my attempt to use up images already printed and scraps from my bin, I put together this red, white and blue card featuring Skating Gnomes from the Cat's Pajamas.  The image screams winter holiday, but red, white and blue for me means Independence day for the US.

Head on over to Little Red Wagon and play with us this week!

Thanks for checking in.  Things around here are good, but a little out of sync.  I'm so sorry for my lack of visits to see your beautiful creations.  My pinky fingers are feeling better, (don't ask, but yes but believe it or not, they were two separate injuries) and it is finally much easier to type and create.  I do hope all is well with you.

Aloha,
Brenda

  3. Glad your pinkies are on the mend, Brenda. As for your card...it's a beauty! Love the colors you've chosen, your skating gnomes and the glittery circles. I received an email from the Cat's Pajamas today and was so sorry to learn she's closing down (sigh).
