I love ribbon and have a very nice stash of it, but I seem to use twine more often. I love the rustic, grungy look of it and the fact that it isn't so thick. In cleaning out our house, I came upon an entire spool of twine that has been so nicely, authentically grunged by time itself (probably 30+ years). I thought it was perfect for these tags made with Forgotten Garden, Stampers Anonymous stamps by Tim Holtz. They were totally inspired by Stacy at Tattered Nest Designs.

I love all your cute little tags Brenda, I love the grunge and the twine and I found a big reel of string and thought how great to use it, BUT, I pulled to tie it and it broke in my hand, then I whacked myself in the chin and nearly knocked myself out, so put it away and never used it again, ha ha ha..
