Here we are in February already, my how the time does go! And here it is Wednesday, so it's time for Imke and her new Little Red Wagon challenge for us this week. Numbers is the word and she wants to see us use them for special occasion creations.
I got out one of my Tim Holtz embossing folders to emboss cardstock covered with aluminum tape I got at Home Depot. Then I rubbed some metallic wax over the top to give it that brassy look. I've had that stuff in my possession for years! I added the 70 because this card is for a 70th birthday celebration. The numbers were cut with a Silhouette and a bit more of the metallic wax was used over a black cardstock. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with gold powder. Lastly, a few black sequins were added for a little extra shine (and to decrease my very healthy stash).
We would really love to see your number projects this week. Please join use over at the Little Red Wagon by linking up your projects. While you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.
Aloha,
Brenda
