Chrissy is our challenge guru this week and she wants to know which you choose, square or rectangle? Easy enough, right? I chose rectangle for this challenge and honestly I usually make rectangle cards.
I made this card awhile back and decided not to use it because I couldnʻt find out whether the dies were counterfeited from branded dies. I thought they were so cute when I received them. I have seen them on Temu, but am still leery of them because I have seen counterfeit stamps and dies on that site. So, here I am sharing the card without knowing, because I ran out of time. The background was made using alcohol inks, the coral die is from Frantic Stamper and the sentiment (which I LOVE) is from Picket Fence Studios.
We would love to see your rectangles or squares this week. Please give our challenge a go and head on over to Little Red Wagon to link up. While you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.
Aloha,
Brenda
Well I just love it Brenda. You captured the feel of the water moving and the fish look brilliant. xx
ReplyDeleteLovely card, Brenda! I think your sentiment may very well be true, too!!!
ReplyDeleteIf I were betting on the dies, I would say that they're probably made in the same place as all the others, only one has a 'brand' and higher price tag than the other.
Beautiful Brenda, I love the background and nautical style with beautiful and true sentiment..

Love the little fishes-great inky background and sentiment

Nicely done on the underwater scene.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card, Brenda! The water looks awesome! Perfect sentiment too.
ReplyDeleteYour background is fabulous!! I love that sentiment too. Always have. :)
ReplyDeleteThe card is lovely, no matter where the dies are from. I'll have to look into counterfeit dies as it's not something I've heard of before. For what it's worth, I don't think it would be worth somebody's time to copy and produce crafting dies - although who knows!
