Little Red Wagon #718 - Dog Days

There is a new challenge over at Little Red Wagon and this week, I am the hostess. Technically the "dog days of summer" ended August 11, but I thought it would make for a fun challenge anyway. I would love to see your papercraft projects featuring dogs of any sort.

I used a NBUS digital image from Moʻs Digital Pencil that I colored with Prismacolor pencils.  It doesnʻt look as if it is currently available.  I think I got it several years ago when she was fundraising for hurricane relief.  Itʻs very cute, but kinda makes me sad when I look at their faces and think of how all these natural disasters affect our beloved fur babies.

Anyway, remember, you can make scrapbook pages, journal pages, bookmarks, or tags to name a few items.  It doesn't have to be a card.  And of course the Girlfriends are playing along, so drop by and leave them a little shout out.  They are sure to inspire you!

Looking forward to seeing you doggy creations!

Aloha,
Brenda

PS - Thanks so much to everyone who has inquired about the safety of my family.  We live on the island of Oahu, which fortunately did not suffer from any wild fires as a result of winds from Dora.  Please, tho, hold those on the island of Maui in your thoughts and prayers.  The loss and devastation is absolutely a worst nightmare situation.

  1. A beautiful, thoughtful card Brenda, such sweet little faces, what you said is so true, poor animals stuck in such circumstances, must be terrifying.
I have been seeing the news feeds about Maui, its dreadful and I pray that they get all the help they need out there.. Take care.xxx

  4. What a wonderful card, Brenda! I love your coloring and paper choices. This is such a cute digi. I'm glad, too, that you and yours are all okay. It is such a tragedy what has happened in Lahaina. Just horrible.
