We have a new challenge for you over at Little Red Wagon. Our Girlfriend Kate, is doing hostess duties. This week she is challenging us to create a multipurpose card or creation for no particular reason at all.
This was the perfect opportunity to use a NBUS die Iʻve had for quite a while. I used embossing powder to cover the typewriter. The typewriter keys sentiment was printed, cut out and covered with Krystal Glaze. I had a bunch of fun making this card.
We would love for you to join use over at Little Red Wagon and link up. While you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.
Aloha,
Brenda
PS-Hereʻs another peek at Koa. Heʻs been so good at potty training. My sister suggested using a potty bell (you teach the pup to ring a bell to go outside). He got the hang of it pretty quickly, and it is really cute, but he also thought is was fun to ring the bell. Needless to say the bell was removed for now.
I am loving this card, I do love cards for 'no reason', always handy to have in the box too. I think the type writer is wonderful and the 'keys' for the sentiment are brilliant. As for the cutest pup ever Koa, he is adorable, the bell story did make me laugh, never heard of that before though.. xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous make Brenda, the embossed typewriter looks incredible. I missed your post introducing Koa, what a handsome boy,and a very lucky boy to have you as his Mum!! I can imagine that the bell became a bit tiresome after a while, but what a good idea!! I am looking forward to seeing your adventures together xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab card! and your embossed typewriter looks really cool too! Koa looks so adorable, you'd forgive him anything with those puppy eyes ha ha x
ReplyDeleteGreat vintage look card, Brenda!!! And Koa is such a cutie! I hope you're feeling lots better.

Oh!!! Koa is just TOO cute!! And that’s so funny about the bell too. I think I’d have fun ringing it as well.
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous! I’m loving the vintage look. I don’t think I would have thought to pair the typewriter with the floral paper but I’m sure glad you did. They look fabulous together!!
Koa looks like a teddybear, Brenda. Super sweet. Your card is cool - like the grunge and vintage look.
