This is just a quick share of a couple of Frantic Stamper cards. The first was made awhile back, but I never shared it for some reason. I created the scene with some great scene building stamps and stencils. Thankfully our part of the ocean looks nothing like this today.
Stamps and dies used include; Shore Birds (FRA-DIE-10993), Cattails (FRA-DIE-10994), Lighthouses (FRA-DIE-10990), Sea Shore (FRA-DIE-10676), Make-a-Frame (FRA-DIE-10895), Double Fishtail Labels (FRA-DIE-09735), Slimline Waves stencil (FRA-STN-044), and Slimline Clouds stencil (FRA-STN-045).
The color was done with Copic markers and craft chalk.
This card is more of a mixed media card. I used some more of my sparkling with the stencil to lay a background. I cut a frame from some slightly tinted paper and glued that down. I put together the butterflies and calla lilies cut from vellum. The bouquet of lilies was tied with buttonhole twist and glued down along with the butterflies. I added just a tiny bit of Nuvo drops to the lily and stamped the sentiment in grey ink.
Stamps, stencils and dies used were; Mix and Match Calla Lillies (FRA-DIE-09911), Stitched Notched Oval Frames (FRA-DIE-10228) (These are so beautiful!), Petite Butterflies (FRA-DIE-09195), Old Brick Wall (FRA-STN-009), and Encouraging Words stamp set (FRA-CL-110).
An added note; we have really been enjoying the presence of Monarch caterpillars this year. Our crown flower plants are finally big enough for them to feed on and we have probably watched a dozen of them fatten up and even saw one form a chrysalis and eclose (emerge as an adult).
Aloha,
Brenda
Wow, amazing picture of the caterpillar - i have never seen the process in real life !

Both cards are so lovely, Brenda! And thank you for sharing the photos, too. How wonderful to see a Monarch emerge!!! I decided this year to skip the nursery flowers and I planted in all my balcony planter boxes wildflower seeds that are butterfly and bee favorites. Every time I see one land now to take a sip, I'm so pleased. And I daresay, I like the wild, natural look (not to mention it was a heck of a lot cheaper and with no plastic plant containers to have to recycle/dispose of).
