LRW # 697 - Sympathy

Happy Wednesday (or Thursday) depending on your spot on earth!  I have a new challenge for you today over on The Little Red Wagon blog.  This isnʻt a fun challenge, but I find it easier to make Sympathy cards to keep in my stash rather than trying to work up the mojo when I really need one.  So, that being said, I would love to see your Sympathy/Condolence/Rememberance cards.

I made this card using a stamp set from Unity Stamp Company.  In real live itʻs white, but I had terrible lighting when I took this photo.  And, by the way, a little warning about black glass mats.  Be sure to clean up between projects (especially when the new one is white, right Shani?).  There is a little unwanted distressing on the left side of this card.

If you need some fresh ideas, check out the Girlfriendʻs blogs.  I look forward to visiting you to see your take on this challenge.

Aloha,
Brenda

  3. Perfect sympathy card, Brenda! And yep, I can so sympathize on the white!!! I had to give my die-cutting machine top plate a good clean the other day. Black sticky something-or-other was appearing on my die-cuts. Maybe this is why I don't make too many CAS cards, you reckon? Because they're often white and I can't keep them 'clean'.

  6. Such a pretty card, Brenda! The flowers are lovely and the distressing (even with the unintentional extra) is a wonderful touch.
