Itʻs Brenda, Iʻm up on the TCP blog and itʻs my turn to wish you all a very happy and healthy 2023. Iʻm hoping this year doesnʻt go quite as fast as 2022. Iʻm also sharing a birthday card with you today, featuring one of the new digital images, Girl with Cake.
You may recognize her from the stamp days, but I have to tell you, I love being able to size her as I wish to place on a fun shaker card. I colored her up with Copic markers and created a shaker element for her using Rectangular Stamps Cutable SVG and a bright sequin mix. Then I cut a bright banner using Banners Digistamp/SVG and layered them all on the card base.
I have a tip for you too. Keep your eyes open for those crossover items from Christmas that are deeply discounted right now. I put this together today hoping to inspire you. This little Christmas bead wreath came with the bow and a star. It was marked down to less than $.50 and I thought it would work perfectly for Valentineʻs Day using Feelinʻ Cupidy Digistamps and Commemorating You Digistamps.

I left the bow, but removed the star from the wreath. I printed the cupid bunny, cut out him and the Wonky Hearts with an electronic machine. The hearts were colored with Copic markers and a layer of Nuvo Glitter Pen. The "stamp" was created with elements from Commemorating You Digistamps and Love Letters Digistamps. Everything was simply glued to the wreath and hung on a display post.
