It's time for another CRAFT Challenge! We would love for you to join this week in creating something "inspired by a song".
Our Sponsor this week is -
When I saw this image, provided by All Dressed Up Stamps, I thought of one of my favorite songs by Tim McGraw, "I Called Mama". I love the words to this song and think of my son every time I hear the line "I can always hear her smile when I call". Just thinking of my son and daughter definitely make me smile (at least most of the time =).
I hope your new year is off to a good start and that you will have some time to join in our challenge over at the CRAFT Challenge blog. For sure check out the blog to see what prize is up for grabs and to see what the other DT members have created. You are sure to be inspired.

Got a call from a friend about a friendIt's news no one ever wants to hearIt hit me like a punch, it took my breathHe was just getting into his best yearsYes, something like that'll shake you upWake you up
So I stopped off at a TexacoBought a Slim Jim and a CokeParked out by the water just to watch that river flowGrabbed my guitar from the back seatWrote a song just for meAnd I sung it for the blue skyAnd a couple live oak treesI thought of home, grabbed my phone from my pocketAnd I called mama
Well it rang a couple times and she picked upI can always hear her smile when I callI just called to tell you that I loved youI was missin' you and dad, and home, that's allI got to really thinkin' this mornin''Bout what's important
So I stopped off at a TexacoBought a Slim Jim and a CokeParked out by the water just to watch that river flowGrabbed my guitar from the back seatWrote a song just for meAnd I sung it for the blue skyAnd a couple live oak treesThe thought of home, grabbed my phone from my pocketAnd I called mama
And from now onI ain't gonna wait so long
