Iʻve been thinking about how fast Christmas rolls around after Halloween, so I thought I would share a few Christmas cards created with dies from the October Frantic Stamper release. This card features the beautiful Arched Nativity (FRA-DIE-11042) that's pairs beautifully with the older Elementals #8-Arched Labels (FRA-DIE-09374) and the star from Sweet Wisemen & Camel (FRA-DIE-10909). This was a fast, simple card to create.
This card started by covering a white card base with some beautiful, sparkly cardstock. I cut the nativity die from black cardstock and chose another background from my stash. I think I made this when attempting to create an aurora borealis effect, not sure how I did it, but I did used my favorite extra chunky white embossing powder to create a few more stars. This was placed as the background for the scene and layered onto the card base. I cut the fancy corners from Arched Labels and a golden halo for baby Jesus and glued them in place and there ya go, another card done.
I started this card with a print from a gel plate. I thought it looked like snow was falling so, I snatched it from my ever growing stash. I die cut the hill and all the gingerbread house makings next from cardstock and then placed them as shown above. The sentiment was stamped, layered and attached and a few shiny sequins were added along with a sprinkle of extra thick embossing powder.
This is an A2 card blank with 2 panels, one design paper and the other embossed white cardstock. The dies were cut and assembled. The gnomeʻs beard was colored with distress oxide inks and a blending brush. His clothes were paper pieced and his skin was colored with copic markers. All the dies were placed as shown above. A little dimension was added by popping the Gnome up on foam tape. A few sequins were added and thatʻs a wrap.
Thanks for visiting, I hope I have encouraged you to keep working on you Christmas card stash. Take good care!

Brenda
