Today I have a few ideas for Halloween decor using digis from the fun October release. This release is just full of spooky cute Halloween items as well as a bit of Thanksgiving and even a rain Bunny.
When I saw these fun labels from Potions Digistamps, I started begging people to help me gather bottles. Yay for recycling, especially when they turn out this cute. I used wine/alcohol bottles and some cute little bottles I had around the house for this project.
I sized and printed the labels using Silhouette Design Studio and then cut them with a Scan and Cut. I used brown ink on the edges to give them a little more vintage look. They were simply glued to the bottles with glue stick. I made the "Crocodile Tears" with water and green and yellow food coloring. They had to be green, right?
Then of course there is darling Frankie from Hocus Pocus. I think we know now how he keeps his lovely green skin tone. He looks like he was the perfect host offering Halloween refreshment to visitors.
He was sized to 4.5" tall and cut with the Scan and Cut. I colored him with Copic markers and since he is such a stylish monster, his shoes were glittered with orange Stickles.
I hope youʻre having fun getting ready for the holidays.
Here are the digis Iʻve used today -
Thanks so much for checking in! I hope things are going your way.
Aloha,
Brenda

ReplyDeleteI don't really do much for Halloween anymore, my youngest son was born on the 31st and we always had a party but he is long since grown up, I do have treats if anyone calls though, hope you have a wonderful night, enjoy.xxx
Fabulous and fun project Brenda, love the labels and spooky, but not too scary images..
