Now, last week I dubbed Imke the CAS queen, so this week I'm am giving the queen of die cuts title to Chrissy. Have you seen the magic she can create with a die cut (or 2 or a dozen)? She creates out of this world card scenes, flowers, you name it. That being said, be sure to visit her blog and the other Girlfriends too, this is sure to be a good one!
My card uses my new (yes, Chrissy inspired me to go shopping) gorgeous Honey Bee Stamps coneflower dies. I LOVE THESE DIES! I couldn't stop making these beautiful flowers.

I started with some color bursts backgrounds I made a while back to use up some really bad watercolor paper. BTW, if you live in a humid climate, be careful, some of mine are now color burst bricks. The backgrounds still turned out well and were definitely fun to create. After the flowers were created, I ran the background panel through an embossing folder (Stamping' UP, but doesn't seem to be available now). I added a couple of Paper Smooches bees (NBUS) and laid it all out as shown above. I added a birthday sentiment from Wordsworth (need lots of bd cards in the next few weeks) and a few sequins to finish it up.
Let's see what you do with your die cuts. Join us over at Little Red Wagon . I hope you have a safe, wonderful week.

What a lovely card, Brenda! The flowers are so pretty and I love the bees....did you use vellum for the wings? I'll have to remember that next time I use this die.
