Hi there, I'm here to share an alternate use of the fun new French Fry Treat Box (FRA-DIE-11016) from the Frantic Stamper March release. I love making junk journals and thought this would make a great pocket for tags and journaling spots. I LOVE this die and have lots more creations to show you as the month goes on.
Here's how it was constructed:
I started by cutting patterned paper with the die.
I usually use a scoreboard to make the creases a little neater.
The sides were glued together but the bottom of the treat box was left rounded as you can see here.
Next came the flattening of the box. The sides line up so the crease falls in the perfect place.
Just another view of the flattened treat box.
A piece of card stock was cut 1" wide and about 4" long. It was scored at 1/2" lengthwise and folded in half...
...and then glued to the bottom. The excess was trimmed as shown below.
Then I decided to cover the inside by gluing in an old music page and cutting off the excess.
And here is an example of how you can place it on a journal page. You can see in the featured picture that I added a tag made with Sweet Rounded Tags (FRA-DIE-10810), a "doily" using Muse Mandala (FRA-DIE-10491) and a little self made notebook decorated with Spring Flowers (FRA-DIE-10779).
Thanks so much for looking! If you have any questions, please ask. Take good care!
Aloha,
Brenda
