As You Like It Challenge #218 - Non-Card

It's time for another As You Like It Challenge.  This fortnight our challenge theme is to share your favorite non-card creation.  Create anything but a card to enter, but be sure to tell us why it's your favorite for a chance to win.

I dabble in all sorts of crafts, but recently making junk journals has been a real passion.  I love the feeling of recycling something to create a treasure.  The cover on this journal was made from a paper towel roll and the lace is leftover from a bridesmaid dress from many years ago.  I think it also gives me a chance to use some of the wonderful items I have collected over the years. 

 I really loved making this journal.  It shares so many of my favorite things; lace, wrinkled ribbon, recycled materials, a new technique, this sentiment and wonderful dies from the Frantic Stamper Positive Vibes release.  The stamps and dies used to create this journal are Magnolia Branch (FRA-DIE-10961), Lacy Ornate Frame (FRA-DIE-10973), Viceroy Butterfly (FRA-DIE-10971) and Butterfly clear stamp set (CL-170).  This journal was inspired by a video from The Artsy Bohemian.
