It's Wednesday again which means it's time for a new Little Red Wagon challenge. Before I get into the challenge, can anyone tell me where June went? I honestly can't believe how fast time is moving. Anyway, this week Imke is up for hostess duties and she is challenging us to make a "Fruit Salad". By this she means she wants to see fruit of any kind on your creations.
Honestly, I made this for the CAS challenge a few weeks ago and then decided to save it for Imke's. I got out a very old Stampin' Up set and stamped the pineapple on a background I had previously done (I think it is watercolors). I stamped a NBUS sentiment from Altenew's Thoughts and Reminders set which doesn't seem to be available any more. A few black splatters and Nuvo drops and this card is finished after popping it on a black panel and white card blank.
We would love to see what kind of fruit salad you make. Remember it doesn't have to be in the form of a card...we love bookmarks, boxes, journals, scrapbook pages to name a few. Head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up. While you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.
Aloha,
Brenda

Oh wow Brenda this is gorgeous, love your card.
ReplyDeleteJune went by in the blink of an eye, I can't believe it either. Xx
Yay, another pineapple! (: Splendid card, Brenda. I love the look of your pineapple.
ReplyDeleteI agree, June flew by....though I don't know why I thought that, we've just moved into Step 2 of reopening so there was basically nothing to do for the whole month. Hopefully the whole summer doesn't seem disappear that fast! (:
Beautiful Brenda, such a great stamp and love the textured stamping on your fabulous background..superb..

A few of us seemed to have pineapple on the brain for this challenge!! You stamped image is just perfect on the background you'd already created. Isn't it wonderful when that happens?! Such a lovely sentiment too!
