I'm so happy to be hostess over at Little Red Wagon this week. I'm going to start off by being perfectly honest with you, I have a hard time throwing away craft related items. I don't know about you, but try as I might, I get quite a conglomeration of "bits" on my table as the months go on. Sometimes it's extra die cuts, sometimes it's extra digi stamps I've printed, maybe even colored, but failed to use. I often times have extra jewels or sequins and definitely have paper scraps and self created backgrounds galore. I'm hoping you are the same way because I am challenging you to use up your bits, leftovers or extras on your creations for this week. Remember, we love cards, but we also love scrapbook pages, book marks, journal pages...you get the idea.
I try really hard to keep things organized and have a little zipper bag (5"x7") that I keep colored images and dies cuts that have ended up leftovers. Right now, my little bag is stuffed, so that's where I went looking for goodies to make this card. I found everything but the card base and the sequins in my bag.
This was a fast way to create something and use up the extras too. I hope you'll join us this week, I would love to see what you do with your bits. How about popping by to see what the Girlfriends have created for this challenge, I'm sure you will like what they have created.
Aloha,
Brenda

Wow!! Such a gorgeous card! It looks as though every part was planned ahead and not just using up some scrap bits. Amazing!!
ReplyDeleteSplendid card, Brenda! Such pretty flowers and I love that you did the sentiment on vellum.
ReplyDeleteBrenda, this is such a beautiful card - love it. I agree, it would be a shame to throw these things away.
