It's new challenge time over at The Cat's Pajamas! This month the TCP Tuesday challenge is to use Patterned Paper, most of us have plenty of that, right? Most of what I used here came from my scrap bags.
- I started by digging through my bits bag and found the little gnome from Welcome Gnome and the mushroom house and trees from Simply blessed. They had been stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink, so I colored them up with Copic Markers and fussy cut them.
- I did a little digging in my paper scrap bag and chose several patterned papers in 2 colors.
- I cut a bunch of rectangles and laid out this little quilt pattern on a 4 1/4" square. You can use square dies, or punches to accomplish this or you can cut a square in 1/2 ti make triangles which is the easiest way.
- I layered this square on a 4 3/4" square and then adhered that to the solid card base (5" x 5").
- The sentiment was stamped on a hand fashioned flag tied around the card with a thread bow.
- A few jewels were added to finish it off.
We will announce a new challenge monthly on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and don't forget our Facebook page.
To play along, just upload your project to The Cat’s Pajamas blog using the InLinkz button.
You don't have to use a Cat’s Pajamas stamp, digi, die or Stencilz, but if you have them we would love to see them.
On the first day of the new challenge, the winner will be chosen from the previous challenge entries and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $50.
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit! Take good care!
