As You Like It Challenge #199 - Favorite Color Duo

It's time for another As You Like It Challenge.  This fortnight our challenge theme is to share your favorite color duo.  Be sure to tell us why it's your favorite for a chance to win.

This week our sponsor is:

Lawn Fawn

I love the combination of green and gold, especially for cards that need a certain solemnity. I feel these colors add a lightness which is often welcomed during times of difficulty.

I had a great time creating this card.  I started with texture paste tinted with watercolors which were applied using a Tim Holtz stencil.  While the texture past was still wet, I added a bit of Altenew Rose Gold heat embossing power.  I love the texture and the subtle green color that resulted.  The sentiment is from Frantic Stamper and was also gold heat embossed.  To finish things off, a few holeless sequins were added.

We would love for you to join us in the first AYLI challenge of the new year.  Head on over to the AYLI blog to link up your creation.  While you are there, check out the prize that's up for grabs and take a look at the gorgeous creations the DT made for you to see!

Thanks for stopping by!

Aloha,
Brenda
