TCP Tuesday Reminder

With half of October being gone (unbelievably!), it's time to remind you of our on going TCP Tuesday Challenge over at The Cat's Pajamas.  Our challenge this month is, Autumn.  Here's a card I've made using some of the new with the old.  You notice a sentiment from The World is Yours, some of the Sketchy Flowers and one of my favorite CutUps, Square Stamps -

  • For this card, the gelli plate came out and along with some distress oxide ink in fall colors, this background came to be.
  • The background was mounted to an A2 card base made from kraft cardstock.
  • The flowers were stamped with VersaFine onyx black ink on watercolor paper, colored with distress reinkers, and fussy cut.
  • The Square Stamp was die cut and with the help of a stamp positioner, the sentiment was stamped with Potting Soil Archival Ink.  The sentiment was mounted at an angle in the center of the card.  The frame was popped up with dimensional squares and placed at the opposite angle.
  • The flowers and leaves were arranged as shown above and glued to the frame.
  • A piece of hemp twine was tied in a floppy bow at the top.
  • Finally, I got brave enough to splatter some black along with green sparkly paint to add a bit more distress and a few acrylic dots were placed randomly.

Join us by uploading your autumn creation over at the TCP blog.  You could win a $50 gift voucher to the TCP store.

Be sure to stop by and see what autumnal items inspired Nancy, Julee, and Wendy.

Aloha,
Brenda
