TCP Tuesday #373

 

It was so nice to visit autumn while I was making this card.  Two of our islands hit record high temperatures yesterday.  I am very grateful the trade winds have returned, it makes the heat a little more bearable.  The joke here (Hawaii) is you can tell it's autumn when people start wearing socks with their slippahs (that's what we call flip-flops/thongs here).

Sets from the new release, Follow Your Arrow and Simply Blessed, are just perfect for this challenge.

• I started this card by stamping the teepee and the sweet fox from Follow Your Arrow onto Bristol paper.  The were both colored with distress reinkers.   I chose to fussy cut the images, tho you could use the free cut files provided here.  
• A kraft A2 card blank was the base.  The sentiment from Simply Blessed was stamped on a tag cut using Portrait of Mew CutUps.  
• A patterned paper panel was cut 4x 5.25".  The Going Round & Round CutUps was used twice to cut the scalloped circle and circle from the patterned paper and just the scalloped circle from a coordinating solid cardstock.  This was pieced together as above.
• The hemp twine was wrapped around the patterned paper panel 3 times and the sentiment was tied to it with a bow.
• This panel was popped up on fun foam and adhered the the kraft base as shown above (leaving room for the twine since it was a little bumpy).
• The teepee and fox were adhered with foam tape as shown above.
• Leaves were cut from fall colors using Simply Blessed CutUps.  There were glued on the tag and behind the images.
