TCP Tuesday #371

We've finished Christmas in July at The Cat's Pajamas, but I'm still in the Christmas card mode.  I thinking working with that great new release is the reason.  Have you picked up any goodies for the release yourself?

So, this month's TCP Tuesday Challenge #371 is to make a Slimline card.  The great thing is a slimline card will fit in a plain ole business size envie and you can adjust the size accordingly.

Here's my card featuring the darling Gnome CutUps and the Oh Christmas Tree Bundle -

Stamping as Fast as I Can!

This card started with a card base, 8 x 3 1/2".  I glued on panels of patterned paper and covered the borders with the "lace" cut from kraft cardstock with the Eyelet CutUps.  I used left over greenery from Oh Christmas Tree where I had used Nuvo drops to give the berries some dimension.  There were arranged on the middle panel and adhered.  I tied a bow using upholstery thread and added my very animated gnomes with foam tape.  I had so much fun adding personality by playing their hands, noses and hats different ways.  That's all there was to this one!

Details for the challenge -
  • We will have a new challenge monthly on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and our Facebook page.
  • To play along, just upload your project to The Cat’s Pajamas blog using the InLinkz button.
  • You don't have to use a Cat’s Pajamas stamp, digi, die or Stencilz, but if you have them we would love to see them.
  • On the first day of the new challenge, the winner will be chosen from the previous challenge entries and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $50.
I hope you all are doing well.  Keep on wearing those masks and stay healthy!

Aloha,
Brenda

  2. What fun indeed!! What a gorgeous card and the gnomes are so cute. Love a long tall card. I am a great fan of TCP but sadly do not have an outlet here in the UK and the shipping costs don't justify the spend anymore. Still, I should look out some of my old sets and have a play!! xx
