TCP Tuesday #369

I you haven't had a chance to join in over at The Cat's Pajamas TCP Tuesday Challenge, you still have plenty of time to get in.  This month we are challenging you to use patterned paper on your project.  We would love to see you use your TCP products, but it is not required to enter.

Here's my card.  I HAD to use the new digital images from old retired favorites Western and Happy Trails -

For the front, I printed Howdy from the Western digi set in a large font, distressed the edges, added some distress in and mounted it on a piece of cardstock.  I used the Woodgrain stencil and the sheriff's star from the original stamp set to create the background on a piece of kraft cardstock.  The edges were distressed with ink and the front was assembled as shown above.  A piece of twine was the finishing touch.

When you open this card up, the images pop up thanks to the Basic PopUp CutUps.  In keeping with the challenge I used patterned paper and used the PopUp die to create the little town.  I cut my own pop up for the sheriff from Happy Trails who was colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  Once the popups were cut, the patterned papers were adhered to the card base.  The town was Copic colored, fussy cut and arranged as shown.  The sheriff glued in place. A sentiment was printed from the Western digi set.  It was distressed, framed with cardstock and added to the scene.   A "lasso" was added for extra fun.

Details for the challenge -

We will have a new challenge monthly on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and our Facebook page.
To play along, just upload your project to The Cat’s Pajamas blog using the InLinkz button.
You don't have to use a Cat’s Pajamas stamp, digi, die or Stencilz, but if you have them we would love to see them.
On the first day of the new challenge, the winner will be chosen from the previous challenge entries and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $50.

I hope you are all doing well and staying safe!

Aloha,
Brenda
