Happy Birthday X3

Hi, friends!  I have a few more birthday cards featuring stamps, stencils and dies from Frantic Stamper.  I had such fun making this first card.  Dies used include Patterned Birthday Candles (FRA-DIE-10808), Typewriter Keys Numbers (FRA-DIE-10804), Typewriter Keys Alphabet (FRA-DIE-10803), Eight Tiny Tags (FRA-DIE-10734).  Stencils and stamps include Bokeh Stencil (FRA-STN-043), Tiny Tag Birthday Greetings (FRA-CL-150).

This card started by making a background applying distress oxide ink randomly to a piece of watercolor paper with blending tool.  White pigment ink was then applied using the Bokeh stencil.  A bit of water was splashed to complete the background.  The candles, tag and typewriter keys were die cut and adhered to the background as above.  The typewriter keys were popped up on foam.  This panel was layers on a turquoise panel which was layered on the purple card blank (5x5").  The Tiny Tag was cut, stamped and tied to the card with a piece of thread.  To finish things off, stickles were applied to the candle flame.

The next birthday card was created using the following stamps, stencils and dies - Happy Birthday Candles (FRA-DIE-10807), Gift Card Pocket (FRA-DIE-10809), Giant Happy clear stamp set (FRA-CL-120) and Celebration stencil (FRA-STN-042).

This one was very straight forward.  I stenciled the background using Cosmic Shimmer Luna Paste in Moonlight Ocean (available here at Frantic Stamper).  I die cut the sentiment from foil paper and layered onto 2 other like diecuts to give it some thickness.  This was adhered to the background which was adhered to the white card blank.  The Luna Paste gives this card such a nice shine.  On the inside I added some stenciled confetti, the gift card pocket and a sentiment to finish things off.

The last birthday card of the bunch features Happy Birthday Candles (FRA-DIE-10807), Birthday Party (FRA-DIE-10813) and Stitched Confetti Background (FRA-DIE-10802).  If you haven't used any of the "stitched" background dies, you have to give them a try.  I just LOVE all of them and this one in particular is so fun!

This card started with a white card blank and a white panel "stitched" with the confetti background which was adhered to it.  Next the balloons were die cut from red, turquoise and green.  The sentiment was cut from turquoise and yellow.  Rather than use the die cut balloon strings, I chose to tie a bit of buttonhole thread to the balloons and just let them float.  The "flames" were added to the sentiment and all the die cuts were adhered as show above.  The balloons were popped up on foam tape.

I hope you've seen something you like.  You can follow the links to the Frantic Stamper store.  Be sure to check the newest products tab for an amazing source of goodies hot of the presses!

As always, I hope you remain well and are tolerating all the change.  Take good care of yourselves.

Aloha,
Brenda
