Hi, all! First off, I want to be sure to let you know that today is sneaky peek day #1 of The Cat's Pajamas January release! My card today features one of the 7 new stamp sets, 4 of which have matching dies.
I also want to remind you, you still have plenty of time to enter the current TCP Tuesday Challenge #364 - Spring Forward. We want to forget about winter and look ahead to spring. You have until the end of the month to complete a project and TCP products are not required. And an added bonus is the $50 gift voucher some lucky artist will win. With all the new stamps and dies being released, who doesn't want a chance at that?
My card features a new release stamp and die set called Hello Spring. Stamps and dies can be purchased individually or as a bundle. This set is darling and absolutely perfect for this challenge.
This card was inspired by my paper scraps. I sliced them into various widths and glued them on to a cardstock blank to create a very colorful background paper.
The images and sentiment were stamped on Neenah cardstock. and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment flag was hand cut and the other images were die cut with the matching dies. To create the little scene, I used County Fair CutUps and made room for the little guy by reattaching the pennants a little higher. The scene was adhered to the base. An eyelet was placed on the sentiment pennant and tied to the card with a piece of twine.
Now, I would highly suggest you check out the other DT makes using the stamp set being featured today, Spring Cleaning. This set is too cute. If my vacuum cleaner looked like the one in this set, I might use it more!
Hope we see you over at TCP Tuesday and don't sneaky peek 2 tomorrow! Thanks for popping by.
Aloha,
Brenda
