Sneaky Peek Day 2

It's sneaky peek day 2 over at The Cat's Pajamas!  There are 7 new stamp sets and 4 new die sets in this release. I am so excited that the die sets coordinate with four of the stamp sets and will be available to purchase separately or as a bundle with special pricing. All the sets will be available for purchase on the day of their peek.   The full release will be available January 28 which is also when you can get even more discounts by purchasing the Kitty Kat or Poochie Pack.

Today we are featuring a set I peeked to you yesterday, Hello Spring.  This is one of the sets with matching dies which you can purchase at a special bundled price, the Hello Spring Bundle.  

For my card today I also used these products; Nature's Christmas Tree and Farm Duo.

This card began by picking out a watercolor background created with distress oxide inks (DOI).  A circle was cut in the center of a white card blank using the circle from the Farm Duo die and the sentiment was stamped below it using a stamp positioner.  The "branches" were stamped on the background using one of the evergreens from Nature's Christmas and then a little mowed lawn DOI was added to give it a tree limb look.  The images were stamped, die cut and colored with Copic markers on Neenah 110# paper.  I love the way the dies cut this heavier paper.  

I just had to find a way to add that darling little caterpillar, so he was placed climbing around the circle.  The other images were placed and glued as shown above once the watercolor panel had been glued into place.  To make the inside of the card look more finished, a white panel was glued over the watercolored panel.  Finally bit of Stickles was added to give the flowers a little shine.
