I'm always kinda sad on the last day of sneaky peeks, but who could be sad sharing the fun set from today? We are celebrating the 'Year of the Rat' today over at The Cat's Pajamas. Addmitally, I wasn't a big rat fan until I saw this set. I love these cute little rats and how versatile they are.
Here in Hawaii, Chinese New Year is a big thing, but this card celebrates Spring using Year of the Rat stamp set and the matching Dies. If you want the Bundle, it is available at a discounted price. Don't forget, all the sets will be available for purchase on the day of their peek. The full release will be available January 28 which is also when you can get even more discounts by purchasing the Kitty Kat or Poochie Pack.
This was a fun, pretty simple card to make.
- This card started with a smoosched watercolor background using distress oxide ink and Ranger watercolor paper.
- The images were stamped, colored with Copic markers, and cut from Neenah #110.
- The sentiment was rather randomly stamped after the watercolor base had dried.
- The images were adhered as shown above and a piece of buttonhole twist was glued from the kite to the cute little rat.
Thanks so much for peeking today. Don't forget, tomorrow is release day and we will have a hop for your viewing pleasure!
