On the Subject of Shopping...

I can honestly say, I have not done any shopping other that good shopping since Christmas eve...not one single sale.  The December Frantic Stamper release has some great dies for those who were born to shop!  I'm sharing 4 cards today suitable for the shoppers in your life.

The first card features stamps and dies from the new release; Shopping Girl (FRA-DIE-10749) and a sentiment from Born to Shop (FRA-CL-143).

This card went together very quickly and started with a smoosched watercolor background on Ranger watercolor paper.  This was matted on a white card blank.  The dies were cut and assembled as shown above.  Shopping girl was cut from watercolor paper and her skin, hair and shoes were roughly watercolored.  The sentiment was stamped with VersaFine onyx black ink and there ya go!

Next is a card that reflects one of my favorite sayings, though honestly, I'm no so sure it's true for me  if we are talking about crafting supplies😏.

This card features the following dies; Large Dress Form (FRA-DIE-10745), Stitched Rectangles (FRA-DIE-09640) and Inverted Scalloped Rectangles (FRA-DIE-10652).  The sentiment is from Born to Shop (FRA-CL-143).

I had the perfect paper on hand from Cosmo Cricket.  It started with an ivory card blank and a design paper (DP) panel.  The inverted rectangle was cut from the same paper the card blank was created with.  The stitched rectangle was cut from DP and mounted.  A tea stained doily was lowered next and a ribbon was tied around all three and adhered to the card.  The dress form was cut and left intact to pop on top of the doily.  Last of the the fun sentiment was stamped on a hand cut rectangle with VersaFine onyx black ink and adhered as shown above.

I think this next die is such fun.  There are so many things you can do with it.  I had such fun creating this little flower boutique.  This card was created with one die set, Paris Boutique Builder (FRA-DIE-10747) -

I started it with a hand cut cardstock base and fashioned a hand cut roof using an embossing folder. and a "building" cut from dotty paper.  This was all adhered to the base.  Next all the dies were cut from paper scraps and assembled as show above.  I used Nuvo drops on some of the plants to add a bit of dimension.  The little window was cut using a Frantic Stamper die, but I didn't write it down and can't find it to save my life!  The awning was popped up on foam tape as was the Fleurs sign to add a bit of dimension.

The forth card is very similar to the last one.  You'll see Paris Boutique Builder awning (FRA-DIE-10747) again as well as Large Dress Form (FRA-DIE-10745),  Shopping Girl (FRA-DIE-10749) and Stitched Rectangles (FRA-DIE-09640).  The sentiment is from Born to Shop (FRA-CL-143) and stamped on a Double Fishtail Label (FRA-DIE-09735) and the brick facade was created using Old Brick Wall stencil (FRA-STN-009) -

This card started with a 6" x 4 3/4" card base.  The bricks were made by coloring some embossing paste with distress ink and stenciling them on light grey cardstock.  I then cut the window using the largest rectangle and topped it with the awning (popped up again on foam tape).  The rest of the card was assembled as shown above.  Shopping Girl was again cut from watercolor paper and painted with water color.  Her clothes were die cut from yardstick scraps.  The label was cut from cardstock and stamped with VersaFine onyx black ink.

Thanks so much for taking a peek.  It's almost time for the January 2020 release, can you even believe that?  Stay tuned for more fun Frantic Stamper designs!
