Yea! It’s time for a new release from The Cat’s Pajamas! I don't know about you, but I have been full throttle making cards and items for Christmas. Now I love making these projects, but it was a nice break to make something besides Christmas. This release has a variety of products suitable for the New Year, Valentine’s Day, and just because. We will be showing you 5 stamp sets, 1 coordinating die, and 7 stencils.
Today’s feature is a darling set, Stuck on You and its coordinating dies. This set will be so perfect for Valentine’s Day our just letting someone special know how you feel. I went with a very CAS card that truthfully took very little time to actually make but a lot of time deciding the concept was OK.
Have you ever felt prickly and grouchy and thought you just wanted to be alone when what you really wanted was a hug from someone who cares...that's why this card came about.
To create this card, I used a tracing wheel to create the small pinpoint edge around a 4 x 5.25" kraft cardstock panel. The cute little cactus was stamped in the corner with Memento tuxedo black using a stamp positioner. It was colored with Polychromos and then restamped. The sentiment was stamped near the center as seen above and a few sequins were added to liven things up a bit. The panel was glued to a piece of fun foam and then to a kraft cardstock card blank. I went back with my awl and made the pinpoints just a bit more noticeable.

Hi Brenda, Well I love the CAS design and the wheel is always a friend of mine, sometimes it gets away from me so I double run it and so far I got away with it..haha...love it Brenda you always cme up with something different.xx

ReplyDeleteI love the CAS design with kraft paper!
ReplyDeleteIt is so simple, the message really comes across....This is very sweet. I can imagine making it for my husband if I have been out of sorts and grumpy, and have been grumpy to him. I would write an apology inside. This is such a good idea for a card. Thanks for the idea.
