The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek Day 1

Yea! It’s time for a new release from The Cat’s Pajamas!  I don't know about you, but I have been full throttle making cards and items for Christmas. Now I love making these projects, but it was a nice break to make something besides Christmas. This release has a variety of products suitable for the New Year, Valentine’s Day, and just because. We will be showing you 5 stamp sets, 1 coordinating die, and 7 stencils.

Today’s feature is a darling set, Stuck on You and its coordinating dies. This set will be so perfect for Valentine’s Day our just letting someone special know how you feel.   I went with a very CAS card that truthfully took very little time to actually make but a lot of time deciding the concept was OK.

Have you ever felt prickly and grouchy and thought you just wanted to be alone when what you really wanted was a hug from someone who cares...that's why this card came about.

To create this card, I used a tracing wheel to create the small pinpoint edge around a 4 x 5.25" kraft cardstock panel. The cute little cactus was stamped in the corner with Memento tuxedo black using a stamp positioner.   It was colored with Polychromos and then restamped.  The sentiment was stamped near the center as seen above and a few sequins were added to liven things up a bit.  The panel was glued to a piece of fun foam and then to a kraft cardstock card blank.  I went back with my awl and made the pinpoints just a bit more noticeable.

Here's the bundle which is available at a special discount -

Be sure to check out the TCP blog and all the wonderful cards the Cat Pack has created.  Also to find out what designers to visit to be -

The products become available for purchase on their Sneaky Peek day.  Release day will be Tuesday, November 26.  If you can hold out until then, and I know it's gonna be tough, there will be special pricing available.

Thanks so much for peeking.  I hope to see you again tomorrow.

Aloha,
Brenda

  4. It is so simple, the message really comes across....This is very sweet. I can imagine making it for my husband if I have been out of sorts and grumpy, and have been grumpy to him. I would write an apology inside. This is such a good idea for a card. Thanks for the idea.
