Tags, tags, tags!

It's time to share the tags I made with the November Frantic Stamper release, Winter Wishes.  The stamps, stencils and dies from this release are very versatile and so easy to use for Christmas, Winter or New Year's celebrations.

The first tag is one I had such fun making.  I got some Gina K Designs Glitz glitter gel and it is so YUMMY!  The dies used for this tag include Lil' Snowmen (FRA-DIE-10725), Jumbo Ornate Snowflake (FRA-DIE-10729) and Slender Alphabet (FRA-DIE-10737) .

This tag started with a ready made tea dyed, gessoed, manila tag with Glitz glitter gel added with a finger.  The snowflake (which is SO GORGEOUS) was cut from kraft cardstock and glued to the tag.  The snowman was cut and paper pieced and the word magic was cut from the alphabet set.  I used a strip of paper ribbon created from paper off cuts to glue the letters to.  More Glitz was added to this piece.  I really wish I could capture the shine this glitter gel leaves, it almost looks as if it was foiled.  The snowman and paper ribbon was glued to the tag.  Various ribbons and twine were added and there's another tag for my Christmas stash!

The next tag was made using Smitten with a Mitten (FRA-DIE-10730) and Tiny Tags Greetings (FRA-CL-140).  I absolutely LOVE both these items!  Stay tuned for more Tiny Tags makes.

and the back

This tag is pretty straight forward.  The mittens were cut twice, once from patterned paper and once from white cardstock.  The ribbed cuff was cut from a red cardstock scrap.  The mittens were assembled, stamped on the back and glued together.  A hole was punched and jute twine was added.  Easy peasy, right?

This last tag uses the darling Stacking Penguins (FRA-DIE-10727and my favorite tag die, Hourglass Scalloped Tags (FRA-DIE-10696).

Again, this is a pretty straight forward tag.  The penguin was die cut and assembled as shown above.  I cut his vest and facial features from white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers.  The tag was cut from patterned paper and the little pengy was popped up on it with jute and a bit of baker's twine added.

I've got much more to share with you, so stay tuned.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Aloha,
Brenda
