TCP Tuesday #362

Gosh, Fall is here, at least according to the calendar.  It seems like a perfect time to join us in The Cat's Pajamas TCP Tueday Challenge this month - FALL.  Many of the new release sets will be absolutely perfect for this challenge.  If you haven't checked them out yet, head on over the the store.

My card was made using The Neighborhood Stencilz, Great Outdoors Stencilz and The Year of the Pig stamp set (I LOVE this set!).  It was inspired by Kerry's sketchy leaves here.

I started by creating the background on white cardstock with the grass stencil using Forest Moss and Peeled Paint distress oxide ink (DOI).  The background was created using Fossilized Amber, Rusty Hinge, Spiced Marmalade and Abandoned DOI.  The tree was stenciled using Gathered Twigs, Frayed Burlap and Vintage Photo DOI.  The leaves were stenciled with the same colors used on the background.  I drew the sketchy lines using a .005 Black Sakura Micron pen.

I thought this little Piggy from Year of the Pig looked like he was throwing leaves in the air, so he was added to the scene.  He was stamped with Tattered Rose DOI, colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.  I added just a bit of curled thread for his tail.

The kraft card blank is 4x4" and the scene is 3 1/4x 3 1/4" which was matted with a brown mat with a 1/16" border.  It was assembled as above.

The sentiment (from Year of the Pig) was stamped with brown ink on a scrap and cut into a banner.  It was tied to the card using craft thread.  The Pig was popped up on foam tape.

Be sure to visit The Cat's Pajamas blog to see the creations the Cat Pack had created.  Hopefully you will be inspired to join in for a chance to win a $50 gift voucher from TCP.  Remember, you don't have to use TCP products, but if you have them, we would sure love to see them!

Aloha,
Brenda
