Merry Christmas

The weekend is coming to an end here as is the month. I have a couple more Christmas cards created with dies from the newest Frantic Stamper release.

The first card features Folk Art Christmas Tree (FRA-DIE-10701) from the new release.  You will also see Snowfall stencil (FRA -STN-016), Reverse Cut Stitched Country Stars (FRA-DIE-09890and Reverse Cut Christmas Words (FRA-DIE-10708) from previous releases.

This card was started by stenciling snow on the front of a card blank 3 3/4 x 7 1/2" using Dreamweaver's Pearlescent embossing paste.  After this was dry, some gold flecked tissue paper was added using Mod Podge.  Using gold metallic yardstick  Reverse Cut Stars were die cut and then fussy cut outside the stitching to get the 3 star shapes.  The tree and sentiment were also die cut.  All the dies were arranged and glued as see above.

The next card was created using the beautiful Hanging Ornaments (FRA-DIE-10710from the new release and Reverse Cut Christmas Words (FRA-DIE-10708) and the very useful Stitched Rectangles (FRA-DIE-09640).

This card started with a white A2 card blank and a piece of cardstock with a background created using Distress Oxide Ink in Broken China, Faded Jeans and Stormy Sky.  These colors were blended and splashed with water.  The rectangle was cut and then heat embossed with Frantage chunky white and aged silver embossing powder.  A metallic silver frame was hand cut with the corners rounded using the actual die itself as a pattern (traced around the outside).  The ornaments were cut from white cardstock and assembled as shown above and the sentiment and stripes were cut from metallic silver and assembled.   All of the elements were assembled as shown above and glued in place with the words being popped up on foam tape.

We are almost at the end of the month and I still have goodies to show you.  Please stop by again tomorrow or check out our Facebook page to see what's next.  Then stay tuned for the October release which should start on October 1!

Thanks for looking!

Aloha,
Brenda
