The first card I'm sharing to day features one of my favorite dies from this release, Build a Fox and Raccoon (FRA-DIE-10690). It also uses Reverse Cut Autumn Words (FRA-DIE-10692) and Fall Icon Wreath (FRA-DIE-10686) as well as Spooky Half Tree (FRA-DIE-10504), Reverse Cut Spring Words (FRA-DIE-10609), Stitched Rectangles (FRA-DIE-09640) and Scene Builder Stencil (FRA-STN-011) from previous releases.
This card started by cutting a plaid card blank and laying it will a rust panel. Next distress oxide ink (tumbled glass, mowed lawn, lucky clover) was used to stencil the clouds and grass on a white panel cut with the stitched rectangle die. The tree, leaves, fox and sentiment were all die cut and assembled and glued to the white panel as shown above. Isn't he just the cutest little fox?
The next card features the following dies - Build a Scarecrow (FRA-DIE-10687), Spooky Jack-O-Lanterns (FRA-DIE-10506), Inverted Scalloped Rectangle (FRA-DIE-10652), and Wheat Stalk (FRA-DIE-10284), Reverse Cut Autumn Words (FRA-DIE-10692).
An embossed brown card blank started this card off. The inverted rectangle was cut and sprayed with fossilized amber distress oxide spray. The sentiment, wheat and pumpkins were die cut, put together and placed on the card blank as shown above. Chalking was done to give the scarecrow a bit more depth and the sentiment was attached with twine.
I had such fun making this card featuring Old Witch Who Lived in a Shoe (FRA-DIE-10683) from the August release. This card also features Notebook Edgers (FRA-DIE-10482), Witchy Moon (FRA-DIE-10501), Roman Clock (FRA-DIE-10635), Nested Tags #2 (FRA-DIE-10101) and my beloved Double Fishtail Labels (FRA-DIE-09735). The tucked sentiment was stamped using Retro Label Maker Halloween stamps (FRA-CL-114).
A black card blank started this card off and some snippets for leftover halloween papers made the base as shown above. A plain rectangle was cut from a background which was distressed using oxides sprays and the notebook edge was cut into it. I added some Brutus Monroe Gilded and Stampendous chunky black embossing powder. The die cuts were cut as shown above. The witch's background was a leftover piece of the oxide spray background. She was mounted on the tag. The Roman Clock was cut and heat embossed with VersaMark ink and Emerald Creek Wrought Iron embossing powder. The shoes was die cut and assembled and the fishtail banner was stamped. All the elements were placed as shown and glued. A few sequins were added for a bit of extra fun.
So that's finally it for August and with a bit of luck I will some more of the September release with you tomorrow! Thanks for hanging out with me!
Aloha,
Brenda
