August is gone...

...but I still have some cards using the wonderful dies from the Frantic Stamper's August release, so I'm going to bundle a few up today to share with you.  Most of them are Halloween cards, so today I'm going with a witch theme.

The first card features Witch Medallion (FRA-DIE-10678) and Halloween Reverse Cut Words (FRA-DIE-10684).  Sorry for the rough picture, all that metallic shine is hard to capture.

This went together quickly thanks to this great die and some speciality papers.  It starts with a black card blank with a panel of striped metallic paper adhered to it.  The medallion die was cut from black glitter paper and backed with a metallic gold circle.  The sentiment was cut twice from black and purple cardstock scraps.  The purple letters were inlaid in the black negative space.  Both the medallion and sentiment were glued to the front as shown above.

This time the Witch Medallion (FRA-DIE-10678) used to make a treat bag tag.

The base was cut from a generic circle, a bit larger than the medallion.  The medallion was cut from black cardstock, black glitter paper and yellow paper.  Pieces for the medallion were separated by cutting and it was assembled as shown above.  The background for the medallion was created with alcohol inks and the "moon" was cut with a circle punch from yellow vellum.  The tag was assembled as shown above.  Ribbons were added and that's a wrap!

The last card for today features the following dies: Halloween Reverse Cut Words (FRA-DIE-10684) and Cat on a Broom  (FRA-DIE-10679).

This is another card where the dies make the card.  All it took was an alcohol ink background (so fun to make on glossy cardstock) on a purple card blank.  The sentiment (cut twice, purple and black), cat (cut three times, black, purple, yellow) and broom (cut twice, light brown and gold) were all die cut and assembled as seen above.  A bit of twine was wrapped around the broom for more texture.  A moon was cut with a circle die and shaded with craft chalk.  The scene was set as shown above with the sentiment being popped up on foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by.  I have just 3 more August cards to share and then it's on to more of the fab September release!

Aloha,
Brenda
