I'm switching it up from Halloween to Fall today using more dies from Frantic Stamper's release Autumn Splendor.
The first card uses Fall Icons Wreath (FRA-DIE-10686), Leafy Card Panel (FRA-DIE-10691) and Reverse Cut Autumn Words (FRA-DIE-10692). I have a feeling these dies will move into my most used category. They made card making fast and pretty easy!
The card was all die cutting. It started with a kraft cardstock base. The leaves card panel was die cut incompletely using a silicon mat. This left the wonderful leaf impressions. The wreath was cut twice and layered one on top of the other. The icons were cut next in various colors for a bit of variety and the sentiment was cut twice to do some inlay work. The leaves card panel was splattered with some gold acrylic paint and glued to the card base. The wreath was fashioned and glued to the center of the panel. The icons were put together and adhered to the wreath. The sentiment was centered and glued. For a final touch a bit of twine was tied to the wreath and a few "berries" were added with Nuvo drops.
The next card was made using the Broken Arrow Card Panel (FRA-DIE-10689) and the beautiful Scroll Birch Leaf (FRA-DIE-10688).
This card also started with a kraft cardstock base. The Broken Arrow Card panel was cut 5 times to allow for color variation. The negative cut was glued to the card panel and the "arrows" were placed using the inlaid die method. The leaf was cut in a co-ordinating color and a bit of twine was tied to the petiole (I had to look it up). This was popped up on top of the card panel and a bit of sealing wax with the hello sentiment was added last of all.
So, I'm probably sounding a bit like a broken record, but you really should visit the Frantic Stamper store often. Here is the new products page and no kidding, stuff arrives at least a couple of times a week. They are there to help you with every crafting need. You won't be disappointed with the selection or the customer service for sure.
Thanks so much for popping in!
Aloha,
Brenda
