Good things usually come to an eventual end and that's the case for The Cat's Pajamas July release. Today is day #7 and we are sharing with you the last darling set, FROM US TO YOU. An even though the peeks will be over, tomorrow is release day and we will be celebrating with a blog hop!
This is what happened for me -
I felt this darling image could/should stand on its own, so it was stamped on textured cardstock and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I had some ribbon scraps on my table that were glued to the side of the image panel. Next I added a bit of craft chalk to add blue to the sky and white embossing powder to create "snow". I used the stars and dots stamp from NATURE'S CHRISTMAS TREE to add a bit more to the background. The sentiment was stamped and fussy cut (but you can also use the free cut files here). The holly leaves were colored with Prismacolor pencils and the holly berries were dotted with Nuvo drops.
3 panels were cut, one from design paper, 1 from green and 1 from red cardstock. They were stacked and adhered as shown in the picture. These panels were glued to a white card base. The sentiment was popped up on foam tape and then placed on a little "nest" of metallic thread.
Aloha,
Brenda
